Reporting a wrong result
If the solver drops a word that should fit, or keeps one that should not, please include:
- the guesses on your board and the colors you got, row by row (for example
CRANE gray-yellow-gray-yellow-gray), - the word you expected to see, if you know it,
- whether Hard mode or Hint mode was on, and your browser and device.
We never see your board, so the rows in your email are all we have to go on. Waiting until the day's puzzle is over before you write keeps the answer out of your message.
Missing or unwanted words
Our lists come from the ENABLE and SCOWL word lists. If a valid word is missing or a common word is missing from the "common" group, tell us the word and where you met it.
Other questions
Questions about privacy, the site's content or anything else are welcome at the same address. We aim to reply within a few working days.
